About the Boston Azure User Group

What is the Boston Azure User Group?

The Boston Azure User Group is a community-run user group with the goal of learning about the Windows Azure cloud computing platform. This will primarily happen through regular in-person meetings where we will discuss anything from business cases to gory technical details.

Where will meetings be held?

Currently, meetings are planned to be held at the Microsoft New England Research & Development (NERD) Center at One Memorial Drive, Cambridge, MA 02142.

What is the plan for future meetings and events?

While most meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month, this is hard to do in November and December due to the holidays in the United States. The plan is to hold meetings the 4th Thursday of most months - where the exception for November and December is to have a single, combined Nov/Dec meeting on the 1st Thursday of December.

The schedule for upcoming meetings is available on our Upcoming Events page.

The speakers and topics future our meetings are actively being worked out, so stay tuned! If you have suggestion, please contact us

Who runs this user group?

The Boston Azure User Group is being run by Bill Wilder who started the group in September of 2009. Note that Bill's work on the user group is entirely on his own time, independent of his employer.

How can I keep tabs on this user group?
